Project overview
MnDOT is studying Hwy 10 from St. Cloud to Little Falls to identify future safety and access needs along the 30-mile corridor. The study will analyze the corridor’s current and future pavement conditions, maintenance operations, safety needs, land use and development, as well as demographics. The Hwy 10 corridor faces challenges with access, traffic flow, and safety. Numerous at-grade crossings create challenges for left-turn movements, and traffic signals in Royalton and St. Cloud cause safety and mobility issues.

Project goals
• Inform and engage the public stakeholders
• Improve safety for all users
• Enhance mobility and travel reliability
• Improve access management and corridor function
• Develop improvements that can be phased in over time as funding is available
