Looking Ahead 2050 MTP Draft Open for Public Review

Looking Ahead 2050 Logo

Saint Cloud APO staff are now accepting public comments on the final draft of Looking Ahead 2050 — the region’s long-range, multimodal, surface transportation plan.

When approved, Looking Ahead 2050 will serve as the APO’s most recent Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MTP is a document that outlines a shared, community-based vision for how the surface transportation network should function on a regional level and includes the necessary steps each partner organization (on the city, county, state, and/or federal level) can take to ensure this vision becomes a reality. This document, when approved, will be consulted for any major transportation infrastructure project and/or policy developed within the Saint Cloud metropolitan area in addition to being a resource for local, state, and federal partners on the priorities for residents within Central Minnesota.

Development of this document is a federal requirement of the APO.

Between Aug. 8 and Sept. 7, 2024, APO staff invite the community to review and comment on the draft plan. A variety of resources are available on our website: www.lookingahead2050.org.
