STATUS UPDATE FOR THE NEXT SEP

Status Report

Dec. 6, 2019

The APO Policy Board adopted the Stakeholder Engagement Plan 2019 Annual Report in October 2019. The report made a number of recommendations regarding how the APO’s public input process could be improved and APO staff were directed to incorporate these recommendations into the current SEP. As a result, staff will be making the changes and, in addition, will be updating demographic data and the Title VI/Limited English Proficiency Plan portion of the SEP within the first quarter of 2020.

March 13, 2020

APO staff are working on preparing an initial draft of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan for internal review and review by MnDOT prior to releasing the document to the public for the required 45 day public comment period.

July 31, 2020

APO staff have been working in consultation with MnDOT’s Title VI Coordinator, MnDOT’s ADA Program and Policy Coordinator, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to finalize the proposed update to the SEP. APO staff are hoping to release a draft SEP out for public comment by mid-August 2020.
